Who is SelectQuote Local a good fit for?

SelectQuote Local is a fit for people who want to run a local insurance business, follow a proven operating model, and are comfortable with goals, standards, and accountability. It’s especially strong for agents or sales leaders who want ownership and a defined territory to grow in.

Territories are primarily defined by ZIP code. Most cities have one territory, while larger metro areas may be divided into multiple ZIP-based territories based on size and demand.

Most candidates complete the process within 4-8 weeks, depending on scheduling and the pace at which documents and requirements are completed. The goal is to provide clarity early and then progress step by step toward a confident decision.

You’ll start with an introduction and brand review, then review the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and licensing requirements. Next, you’ll meet with SelectQuote leadership and the team supporting your launch, review the Franchise Agreement, and then sign to get started.

Insurance experience is helpful, but not always required. What matters most is sales ability, coachability, and the willingness to follow a structured launch plan and ongoing standards.
